1. Who We Are

JYOTVIRA Systems is the provider of SecureSync, a file monitoring and backup service for Windows PCs. Contact: info@jyotvira.com

2. What Data We Collect

2a. Client registration data

When you sign up or contact us, we collect: your name, business name, phone number, email address, and general location (city/state). This is used to manage your account and provide support.

2b. Monitoring telemetry

SecureSync sends monitoring status data from your Windows PC to our systems. This includes: file names and counts, sync timestamps, backup success/failure status, and device identifiers (computer name, device ID). This does not include file contents.

2c. Mobile app usage

If you use the SecureSync mobile app (Flutter-based), standard app analytics may be collected by the app platform (Apple App Store / Google Play). We do not add third-party analytics SDKs to the app beyond platform defaults.

3. What We Do NOT Collect

• The contents of your files (documents, spreadsheets, PDFs, images, etc.)
• Your Google account password or credentials
• Your restore PIN (stored only as a cryptographic hash on your machine)
• Banking, financial, or payment data beyond what is required for invoicing

4. Where Your Files Go

SecureSync backs up your files directly to your Google Drive account. Files do not pass through or reside on JYOTVIRA servers. Google's privacy policy and data residency policies apply to files stored in Google Drive.

5. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and maintain the SecureSync monitoring service
• To send you monitoring status alerts and renewal reminders
• To assist with restore requests (with your authorisation and PIN)
• To contact you about account or billing matters

We do not sell your data to any third party. We do not use your data for advertising.

6. Data Sharing

We do not share your personal data with third parties except: (a) where required by Indian law or a valid legal order, (b) with your explicit written consent, or (c) with service providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.

7. Data Retention

Client registration and monitoring telemetry data is retained for the duration of your subscription and for up to 2 years after termination for legal and dispute-resolution purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing info@jyotvira.com.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest. Restore PINs are stored as PBKDF2-SHA256 cryptographic hashes and cannot be reversed. No security measure is perfect — we commit to transparency in the event of a breach.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to: access your data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion, and withdraw consent. Contact info@jyotvira.com to exercise these rights.
