The Full Flow

Four stages of protection

Installation by a JYOTVIRA field engineer

A JYOTVIRA engineer installs the SecureSync Windows agent on your PC, connects it to your Google Drive account, and selects which folders to protect. This takes approximately 1 hour. You do not need to do anything technical — the engineer handles the full setup.

What happens during setup:

  • ✓SecureSync agent installed as a Windows background service
  • ✓Your Google Drive account linked (you authorise, we do not store your password)
  • ✓Monitored folders configured — e.g. Documents, Tally data, Desktop, client folders
  • ✓Restore PIN set (PIN-gated restore — only you can authorise a restore)
  • ✓Mobile app installed on your phone and connected
  • ✓First backup confirmed before the engineer leaves

Continuous silent monitoring

Once installed, SecureSync runs silently as a Windows background service — you never see it and it does not interfere with your work. It watches the folders you selected and reacts to every file change in real time.

Check status from your phone, anytime

The SecureSync mobile app shows you live protection status — how many files are protected, when the last sync happened, and if anything unusual was detected. You can check it from anywhere without opening a computer.

Restore files when something goes wrong

If files are deleted, corrupted, or lost — call or WhatsApp JYOTVIRA. Our field engineer accesses your Google Drive backup remotely and restores the files to your PC. You do not need to understand how Google Drive works.

Important: Restore is possible only for files that were in a configured monitored folder and were successfully backed up before the incident. SecureSync cannot recover files that were never in a monitored folder. No product can guarantee 100% recovery for files that were not backed up.

Technical Notes

For those who want the details

Realtime debounced sync

File changes are detected immediately. A short stabilisation wait ensures the file has finished writing before sync, avoiding partial uploads.

Version history

Multiple versions of each file are kept. You can restore the version from before a mistake, before a ransomware attack, or from any point in time.

On-device AI risk scoring

File events are classified locally on your PC — not sent to any external AI service. Mass deletes and suspicious files are flagged automatically.

PIN-gated restore

Restores require a PIN set by you during installation. This prevents unauthorised restoration. The PIN is cryptographically hashed — never stored in plain text.

Your Google Drive, your data

All backups go to your Google account. JYOTVIRA has no access to your file contents. Your data does not pass through our servers.

Windows only

SecureSync currently monitors Windows PCs. The mobile dashboard (iOS + Android) is for viewing status and initiating restores — not for direct file backup from mobile.
