No. JYOTVIRA does not store your files on any server. All backups go directly from your Windows PC to your own Google Drive account. We have no access to your file contents.
During installation, the field engineer configures which folders to monitor — typically Documents, Desktop, Tally data directories, and any custom client folders you specify. Only configured folders are monitored. Files outside monitored folders are not backed up.
File changes are detected in real time. After a short stabilisation period (to ensure the file has finished writing), the changed file is synced to Google Drive — typically within a few minutes of being saved.
No. SecureSync runs as a lightweight Windows background service. It backs up only changed files, not full folder copies. On a typical office PC, it is not noticeable during normal work.
SecureSync monitors files while the PC is running. When the PC is off, no monitoring or backup occurs. When the PC starts again, the agent resumes and syncs any missed changes. It is important that the PC is on and connected to the internet regularly — ideally during business hours.
Changes are tracked locally. When the internet connection is restored, the pending backups are synced to Google Drive automatically. Files changed during the offline period are not lost — they are queued for sync.
Yes. SecureSync backs up to your Google Drive account. You need an active Google account. The field engineer will help you link it during setup. A free Google account includes 15 GB of Drive storage — sufficient for many small offices. Paid Google One plans offer 100 GB, 200 GB, and 2 TB.
No. Google Drive storage is billed directly by Google to your Google account. This is not included in any SecureSync plan. Jyotvira Systems does not resell or manage Google storage billing.
SecureSync will detect that sync is failing and alert you through the mobile app. New backups will not complete until storage is freed or upgraded. Existing backups remain safe. The field engineer will help you choose the right Google One plan if needed.
SecureSync currently backs up to Google Drive. OneDrive integration is not available at launch. If your office uses Microsoft 365 and prefers OneDrive, please contact us — this may be available in future.
No. No product can guarantee recovery for files that were not backed up. SecureSync can restore files that were in configured, monitored folders and were successfully synced to Google Drive before the incident. We provide best-effort assistance and we are transparent from the start about what is and is not available.
A typical remote restore of a few files or a folder takes 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on file count, size, and internet speed. Complex restores involving many folders or version selection may take longer. We give you a time estimate before we begin.
For Professional, Office, and Office Plus subscribers, the mobile app provides a restore initiation flow. For most restore scenarios, a JYOTVIRA engineer assists remotely — you do not need to understand Google Drive file structures to complete a restore.
The restore PIN is a security gate. It ensures that no one — including JYOTVIRA staff — can initiate a file restore without your authorisation. It is set by you during installation and stored as a cryptographic hash. If you forget it, the field engineer can reset it with your confirmation — but cannot bypass it silently.
The first 100 clients pay ₹999 setup (instead of ₹2,999–₹14,999) and get 3 months of full service free. After 3 months, you receive a renewal invoice at the standard annual rate for your chosen plan. You decide whether to continue — no automatic charge.
Monitoring stops. Files already backed up in your Google Drive remain there — Jyotvira does not delete your data. If you renew within 90 days, no new setup fee is charged. After 90 days, a setup fee applies to restart.
No lock-in. SecureSync is an annual subscription. You pay once a year. If you do not renew, monitoring stops. There is no penalty for not renewing and no minimum contract period beyond the current year.
Your files are in your own Google Drive account. SecureSync is the monitoring agent and recovery service — not the storage provider. If JYOTVIRA ever stopped operating, your backed-up files would remain in your Google account, accessible to you indefinitely. You would lose the monitoring and restore support, but not the data.
